Loch Lubnaig- Scotland
A huge mountain formed by massive near horizontal strata at the head of Loch Torridon. Coming over the mountains from Shieldaig the view of One of my all time favourite lochs in Scotland. Looking West over to the forest at the mouth of the loch, I was captivated by the contrasting shapes of the trees. The line of trees on the loch side with the sunlit grassland behind creates the depth in the image. This depth separates the various textures and tones within the image.
